Ferroli renewed its partnership with the Association “I Bambini delle Fate” confirming its commitment to inclusion projects

In 2022 Ferroli started its partnership with a social enterprise called “I Bambini Delle Fate” that, since 2005, provides financial support to social projects and inclusion paths run by third-sector associations, aimed at children and families with autism and other disabilities.

“When a severe disability enters in your family it’s like an earthquake. But it’s a lifelong earthquake. You don’t know what to do and nobody helps you”. Here’s how Dad Francesco apostrophizes the daily life lived with Andrea, an unpredictable and demanding earthquake, but made of Love.

When he became aware of the world of disability and of care lacks that families have to face, he decided to do something: to put at social service his entrepreneurial experience, in a tangible and organized way. And he did something special: he founded the Association “I Bambini delle Fate”.

In 2024, grateful for the partnership, Ferroli has decided to continue supporting “I Bambini delle Fate”, financing a further project.

Initially Ferroli started to support the Association with the project “Social Time Bank” that connects the social with schools. This is a unique learning opportunity for students: it allows them to be the protagonist of inclusion paths, but also an occasion of personal growth. Indeed, boys and girls are forced to leave their comfort zone and to measure with themselves. Furthermore, boys and girls with disabilities have the possibility to be included in a group context and do different activities with friends.

In 2024 Ferroli decided to also support “More than a dream” project, a foundation committed to promoting values and solidarity practices, hospitality, aimed to improve families’ quality of life. “More than a dream” operates through the implementation of continuous and coordinated paths for children, young people and adults with intellectual disability and Down Syndrome to help them with the development of cognitive skills, social inclusion and the transition to adulthood.

T-Lab is the main project, and it develops in three areas: a creative workshop, a vegetable garden and cooking classes. All these laboratories are dedicated to young people with greater difficulties, who cannot find their role in a place of work but deserve an active and valuable role in protecting contexts, with respect to their talents.

T-Lab main goals are:

  1. To provide the person with a disability with an everyday space in which she/he can be an active part taking on an important social role
  2. To give dignity to those people, designing together handcrafts, caring for plants, offering high-quality food products
  3. To create a disability-friendly community.
