Approaching our Sustainability Strategy, we decided to be supported by consultants able to accept the complexity of our project. At the beginning of Sustainability project, we did scout among different Italian companies providing Sustainability services. Among them all, we chose Fedabo.

Fedabo is an Energy Service Company (ESCo), operating since 1999, that helps customers to optimize consumptions and costs, with a focus on Sustainability. They work alongside customers with a team of more than 70 energy and sustainability experts to help them to reduce consumption and emissions and, consequently, obtain economic and environmental benefits.

We also chose Fedabo because they obtain B-Corp Certification in March 2021, becoming one of just over 300 B-Corp companies in Italy in 2024. The B-Corp Certification evaluates a company’s impact on society in an all-inclusive way. It considers environmental policies and economic and financial performance, the protection of workers’ rights and bonds with local communities and territory.

Aware of how it can play an increasingly active role in promoting a truly sustainable economic model in its three dimensions, in 2021 Fedabo formalized in its statute its will to create common benefit through the pursuit of positive effects on society, territories and environment where it is inserted.

Fedabo has also joined Assobenefit, the National Association for Benefit Companies: with this membership, Fedabo is committed spreading good practices, deepening the management methods, exploiting this business model and developing new partnerships with similar national and international entities pursuing the same objectives.

Since 2021, Fedabo Ecosystem Project has been launched with the aim of protecting the environment, promoting activities related to Sisuatinability and developing projects for ecological-landscape development and forest management, involving also Fedabo’s stakeholders. This is an ecological-naturalistic enhancement project between mountain trails, reforestation and autochthon trees. For each new customer or service, Fedabo is committed to plant a local native tree or redeveloping a green area along the banks of river Oglio, whose ecosystem plays a fundamental role from an ecological, hydrological, landscape and aesthetic-recreational point of view.

In 2023 the project has been enriched by enhancing not only the river ecosystem but also the forest ecosystem of the Valle Camonica and surrounding valleys thanks to an active and sustainable management of forests and natural resources. The project also sees the upgrade of mountain trails that are an integral part of the forest ecosystem.

Thanks to our partnership, in 2024 Ferroli contributed to the maintenance of CAI trail n. 740, in Estine (Brescia). The trail has a total length of 1.6 km. in our case, the 80-metre section, set up with our support, was n. 16.
